Bridgestone designed their Turanza T005A summer touring tyre for wet road braking and quiet driving on the motorway. The NanoPro-Tech compound helps reduce heat and improve braking on the T005A. Tread designed with continuous grooves and blocks with micro slits on the surface help the tyres maintain grip on wet roads. The braking force is spread across the surface of the tyre, helping maintain contact with the road, by the premium design of block edges.

The T005A is the successor to the Turanza T001. The T005A is designed with a new layout to help reduce noise while driving at higher speeds. The T005A's casing helps with even distribution of pressure across the tread while driving long distances which helps improve the tyres' longevity. I like the tyres. The noise is noticeable compared to my previous ones, but they grip well when it's wet, which is great. Overall, it's a good set and I'm pleased with the buy; just a bit of noise at higher speeds. Considering the price, it's a good buy.

The tyres are starting to break in after a few thousand miles. All weather responses are very stable and handle wet and slippery conditions easily. They are a little louder on the road than I expected, but comfort was not sacrificed. Cornering grip is solid. I'm very satisfied so far!
