The Bridgestone Turanza ER300 is a summer tyre with an asymmetrical tread and a summer focus for stable driving and braking on wet roads. The centre rib helps maintain even steering response, while the outer edge tread blocks help support the tyre while cornering. The tread houses circumferential grooves to help channel and evacuate water from the tread surface. The summer compound features an extended silica concentration for braking on wet roads.
Tyres with the ER300 designation were used as OEM equipment by BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Some of these tyres even have the BMW star and MO marks on the sidewall. These designations show that the tyres were produced to the specs set forth by BMW and Mercedes. They also come in reinforced XL and run-flat variations for the vehicles that need them.
