I have an older car, and options for affordable performance tyres for its small 17" wheels are getting limited. These Pilot Sports are a good match for me and the car, giving me decent grip and responsiveness to help me keep up with younger performance cars, at least for the time being.

255/30 R22 is an ultra-low-profile performance tyre size for 22-inch wheels. 255 is the width in mm. 30 is the aspect ratio, meaning that there is 76mm (30% of 255) of sidewall height. R22 means it is a radial tyre on a rim 22 inches in diameter, meaning the overall diameter is 712mm. The sidewall is very thin, meaning there is less rubber to protect the tyre on a rough road.
