They perform adequately, but I've observed a minor decline in fuel efficiency relative to my last set of tyres. If I was doing higher mileage, spending more on a more expensive set may have been warranted.

Kumho Wintercraft WS71

Although these tyres are quite comfortable, they are a little bit more slippery than summer tyres on greasy roads in warm weather. However, they managed quite well last year during the extreme cold winter when the roads were icy and ungritted. To test for ice, you would have to make a sharp brake. I still haven't been able to try them in the snow yet.

245/60 R18 tyres come as standard fitting on some Ford Explorer, Hyundai Palisade, and Kia Telluride models. 245/60 R18 tyres are 245mm wide, with an aspect ratio of 60 meaning the height of the tyre is 60% of the width, giving the tyre a height of 147mm.
