You may find Toyota MR2s to have 225/50 R15s at the rear, with narrower front tyres. The numbers are simple. 225 is the width of the tyre in mm. 50 is the ratio of the height of the tyre's cross-section to its width, in this case 112mm (50% of 225). R15 refers to a radial tyre on a 15-inch rim, giving an overall diameter of 606mm. The lower sidewall on the MR2 suits the staggered wheel set-up. At Tyres.co.uk, we supply 225/50 R15s.
