165/80 R15 is a classic-car size, being found on classic VW Beetles. 165 is the width in millimetres. The 80 is the aspect ratio, meaning sidewall height is 80% of 165mm, so 132mm. R15 means it's a radial tyre on a 15-inch rim, giving an overall diameter of 645mm. That large sidewall helps smooth out the rougher roads, which is best for classic VW Beetles.
