The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V107 is an ultra-high-performance summer tyre that incorporates an original-equipment design for Mercedes-Benz and BMW. It features a high-silica tread compound that is effective for summer driving on relatively dry roads (over 7 deg C). The V107 tyre incorporates an asymmetric tread design with 4 major grooves that run in a front-to-back direction with ribs to assist in maintaining stability for straight-line driving. The outer edge design features larger and more rigid blocks to assist in maintaining the shape of the tyre whilst cornering.
The Yokohama ADVAN Sport V107 is the successor to the ADVAN Sport V105 in Yokohama’s range of performance tyres. Some of the V107 tyres feature the MO1 marking on the side wall which is the mark of approval for Mercedes-Benz, while some are equipped with the star mark of BMW. This indicates that these tyres were manufactured to the specifications of Mercedes-Benz and BMW and were not just manufactured to fit the respective cars.
