The Yokohama Advan Sport V105T is a summer tyre designed to meet Tesla's ultra-high-performance requirements. It has an asymmetric tread with a casing designed to maintain its shape at high speed. It has four grooves that remove water from the tread centre, with firm outer corner blocks. Yokohama’s Matrix Body Ply arranges the carcass cords to help the tyre maintain its shape, and helps the tread remain in place while steering and braking forces increase.

The V105 family replaced the ADVAN Sport V103 range. Yokohama’s Orange Oil is a rubber compound designed to improve grip while the tyre is in contact with wet roads. Tyres with a sidewall mark of T0 were made according to Tesla’s requirements, therefore that mark should be matched when replacing a Tesla original tyre. These tyres are more comfortable than the Continental SportContact 6 I had before. The only downside to them is that they don't have alloy protection so I have to be careful when parking by the kerb.

The commonly documented tendency of the Cayenne is tyre wear. However, I have found the Yokohama n specs to have excellent grip and endurance while also being quiet, and to top it off, they are the best price for Porsche-approved tyres. I would recommend them to any Cayenne owner.

The tyres look okay, but I have to pump them up every week because the fitters didn't replace the valves (which I wanted them to). I'm really regretting not going to the tyre service that's just down the road.
