The Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 is an asymmetric tyre that features Yokohama’s Lightning Groove technology. This features angled grooves that carry water from the middle of the tread surface to the edge in order to improve wet grip. Yokohama’s Advanced Nano Blend Compound features silica to improve grip on hot damp tarmac. The shoulder blocks form a stiff shoulder in order to resist flex when steering.

The 5-pitch sequence helps to reduce tread pattern noise. Reinforced XL construction, which increases the load capacity of the tyre, is offered in some sizes. You can find the Yokohama Advan Fleva V701, in both standard and reinforced XL constructions, at Tyres.co.uk.

So far, I've had reliable performance for a reasonable price. Fuel economy and noise level are similar to my old Michelins. Given the horrible weather we've been having, I've been particularly comforted by the traction these supplied in the rain.
