The Uniroyal RainExpert 5 is a summer tyre that employs a directional V-shaped pattern with Shark Skin Technology to channel water and reduce aquaplaning. In addition, the RainExpert 5 uses Aqua-Twist Sipes to form additional edges when the tyre is in contact with the road. The tyre tread is designed for everyday driving during warmer months.

The RainExpert 5 replaces the RainExpert 3, and it is available in reinforced XL construction. This construction is intended for vehicles that require a higher load capacity. The reinforced constructions have a stronger tyre casing and are intended for weight limits as specified on the sidewall. Excellent. They outperform Michelins in wet situations and last longer in snowy conditions. They also seem to be quieter and provide a better ride.
