Sunny NU006 is a summer performance road tyre built for everyday cars that need sharper steering response without moving into premium pricing. Designed for warm, dry and wet UK road conditions, it suits commuting, town driving and higher-speed A-road or motorway journeys. As with any summer tyre, it’s not intended for snow or icy temperatures.

The tread uses an asymmetric layout to balance cornering grip with day-to-day stability. A solid centre section helps the tyre track straight and feel more composed when changing lanes, while broader shoulder blocks support grip when you load the tyre through bends. Wide circumferential grooves and angled channels move water away from the contact patch to reduce the likelihood of aquaplaning and maintain predictable braking in the wet.

Underneath, the casing is tuned to keep the footprint more consistent as speeds rise, which can help the NU006 wear more evenly when correctly inflated and aligned.
