Product description & features

The Pirelli P Zero is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-based ultra-high-performance summer tyre with a PZ4 asymmetric design to provide dry steering and clear water evacuation. Three circumferential grooves carry water away from the centre of the tread. The outer edge blocks are wide and stiff to provide cornering support, while inner section slits break up the block and reduce braking pressure concentration.

Pirelli also makes P Zero Tyres with the side marking of an N0 (noted as Porsche approved) or a BMW star as a statement Tyre’s compliance to these manufactures specifications. The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System tyre is a variation of the Pirelli P Zero and has sound absorbing material in the tyre’s cavity to reduce cabin noise. At Tyres.co.uk, you can buy the Pirelli P Zero in all variations including Run Flat, Noise Canceling, and sealing.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric PZ4 tread design
  • Three water-clearing tread grooves
  • Wide, stiff outer edge blocks

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 255/40R20 101W XL
It's easier to take corners with the car not swaying, feels more stable and the tyre noise is less.

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 255/40R20 101W XL
I typically use Michelin tyres but they don't have runflat options in this size. I got the P Zero instead, which has an 'A' rating for wet conditions, although I found the wet grip to be poor. At least they lasted longer than the Bridgestone Turanzas that came with the car.

Tyre review for Pirelli P Zero 255/40R20 101W XL
As I expected, it has better grip and the ride is quieter, too. I haven't tested other brands to make a comparison.
