The Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) Elect is a summer tyre designed for Pirelli’s EV/HEV range. It is an ultra-high-performance tyre designed for the different torque characteristics caused by having an electric drive system. Additionally, hybrids with internal combustion engines weigh more than their non-hybrid counterparts, which is why Pirelli's Elect line is designed with a heavier focus on the needs of plug-in hybrids.

Because electric vehicles change the position of the weight on the tyre due to their instantaneous acceleration and deceleration, the internal structure of the tyre has been reinforced. Summer tyres are designed for when the temperature is above 7 degrees centigrade, and the asymmetric tread pattern and design help with cornering. At the centre of the tyre, there are wide grooves to help with water dispersion.

There are also ultra-fine slits in the tread to help with wet traction. The Elect mark on the sidewall indicates that this tyre has been designed specifically for plug-in hybrids and is a summer tyre. We sell the Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) Elect at Tyres.co.uk.

I am so glad I chose these tyres. They have been an excellent investment and driving with them is virtually unlike driving with any other tyres. I feel very strongly about how safe and secure I am driving with these. They keep me feeling this way in all driving conditions. They keep me safe and I am incredibly appreciative of the amounts of grip, they offer in multiple different weather conditions. They drive incredibly quietly also, for a moment I thought I was driving a different car. I love how these tyres have enhanced my driving experience so much.

I have been very satisfied with my P Zero Elect tyres on my vehicle. I find that they have especially good grip with the ability to make rapid starts and stops, which adds to the enjoyment of driving. I find that rainy days are still enjoyable with these tyres as they are still able to grip the road well. I have put down a significant amount of mileage on these tyres and they still look good. I am pleased with my choice.
