Pirelli has designed the Pirelli P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico 2 to be the rear tyre in their Corsa System. When compared to its front counterpart, the Corsa System rear tyre prioritises dry performance with its outer tread. The Corsa Asimmetrico 2 uses cut grooves in the inner rear tread to assist in channeling water away from the rear axle. The tread is made from a silica and carbon black mixed compound to enhance grip, and from a construction perspective, the Asimmetrico 2 utilises two steel belts and a spirally wound nylon layer to provide the tyre stability during high performance driving.

A few select Corsa Asimmetrico 2 tyres are side marked with K1. K1 is a sidewall marking that indicates that specific tyre was built to Ferrari’s specification. Therefore, it is important that the K1 marked tyre is maintained during its life. The Pirelli P Zero Corsa Direzionale is built with a directional tread, and is designed to be the front tyre in the Corsa System.
