Pirelli P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico 13 tyres are designed specifically for the rear-axle of the Pirelli P Zero Corsa System and provide an ultra-high performance option for summer driving. The outer edge of the asymmetric tread design has large blocks to assist cornering performance at higher speeds. The blocks are complimented by a continuous centre rib, and inner edge grooves. Fast driving or track use generates high levels of heat. As a result, the outer edge blocks of the P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico 13 are complemented by a specially designed tread compound to handle the heat and assist with the removal of water from the contact patch of the tyre.

The corresponding front-axle tyre is the Pirelli P Zero Corsa Direzionale. This tyre uses a directional tread pattern to clear water from the contact patch of the rear tyres by placing V-shaped channels in the front-axle tyre.
