Tyre review for Nankang Sportnex NS-20 305/30R19 102Y XL
I chose these tyres because they were available to be fitted before my MOT, after my last ones were damaged due to a pothole. I have used Conti Sport Contacts (3 then 5) for ages, so it's my first time going for a budget set in about 15 years. They look great on my Corsa VXR, perform well in the dry, and handle well enough in the wet. They feel less rigid compared to the Contis, the steering is less responsive, and they flex a little when accelerating. That being said, they are more comfortable and relaxed than my normal tyres. If you have a performance car, consider more expensive options, but for normal use on a low mileage car they are perfectly fine. I will probably go back to Contis or Pilot Sports when I replace them in a few years, or if my mileage goes up a lot, but they suit me for the time being.
