Product description & features

The Michelin Primacy 4+ is a premium summer tyre that focuses on improving safety and performance with wear. It employs Michelin EverGrip Technologies to maintain wet braking performance as the tyre wears by generating new grooves to clear water from the tyre. The Primacy 4+ uses two rubber compounds in the tread, with the outer layer wearing away to preserve the water channeling grooves. Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering over the patch of road the tyre is in contact with, promoting even wear of the tread.

The Primacy 4+ is the successor to the Primacy 4, and is in turn succeeded by the Primacy 5. There are reinforced XL variants for heavier vehicles. We have the Michelin Primacy 4+ available at Tyres.co.uk.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4+ 215/60R16 99V XL
I have used this brand in the past, so I had some expectations, and it did not let me down. These tyres are slightly more expensive, but cheaper tyres are more expensive in the long run because they do not last as long. These are high quality and allow for a stress free experience on the road.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4+ 215/60R16 99V XL
They're okay, but not great. I slipped a few times while starting off in the wet, whereas the previous Continental Premium Contact 6s did not slip and were nicer to drive. Noise level is acceptable on the road. I am curious to see how long they will last. No significant difference in fuel consumption.

Like we expect, they do have good grip in both wet and dry conditions. We have yet to test them in winter conditions.

Tyre review for Michelin Primacy 4+ 215/60R16 99V XL
No issues at all. Michelin makes great tyres that perform as they should and keep pressure well. They are also fine in the rain and I believe they would be fine in snow though I have not tested them there. I don't drive in snow as I am retired. I have been using Michelins for 60 years except for when I have had new cars with other tyre brands.
