Product description & features

Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 is a max-performance summer tyre designed for fast, dry and high performance driving as well as an engineered asymmetric tread design that enhances braking performance on wet roads. Michelin Bi-Compound tyre technology ensures differentiation between the outer and inner edge tread performance through cornering-compound in the outer edge and braking-compound in the inner edge. The Variable Contact Patch tread technology helps in improving the performance of braking and cornering.

Certain versions of the tyres have sidewall markings for Porsche’s N0 or star for BMW, meaning the tyres have been made according to OEMs’ specifications and therefore, maintaining their specification by matching with markings in the tyres. ZP version tyres are run flat tyres, having reinforced sidewalls allowing them to carry the weight of the vehicle after losing pressure. Throughout our website we have Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and ZP run-flat tyres for sale.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric tread for wet braking
  • Inner and outer tread compounds are different
  • Run-flat tyres with strengthened sidewalls

Tyre review for Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 205/55R17 95Y XL
They provide excellent grip and handling performance in all summer conditions, wet or dry. Like all summer tyres, they are useless in the snow, so I change to M & S rated winter tyres as the colder months come in.
