The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is a premium summer performance tyre designed for sporty hatchbacks, saloons and coupes driven mainly on UK roads. It’s built for warm-weather grip and confident control, making it ideal for fast A-road driving and motorway miles, while remaining composed in heavy rain. As with any summer tyre, it isn’t intended for snow or icy conditions.

An asymmetric tread pattern combines a stable outer shoulder for cornering support with a more open inner area to help clear surface water. Wide longitudinal grooves reduce the risk of aquaplaning, while high-silica tread compounds help these tyres bite into damp road textures for shorter, more predictable braking. Underneath, Michelin’s responsive belt construction helps keep the contact patch more consistent under load, improving steering accuracy and stability without making the ride unnecessarily harsh.
