The Michelin Latitude Sport 3 is a summer SUV tyre specialising in the braking of heavier vehicles on wet roads and designed to be used in warmer weather. It has a unique compound including silica and a new elastomer designed to help the rubber grip on wet roads. This tyre design has a continuous central rib, which helps accelerate and transfer braking forces through the tread. The design features vertical and horizontal grooves to help disperse water. Strength and durability for the SUV loads are designed into the casing. Supporting cornering are the outer blocks that are reinforced.

This product has replaced the Latitude Sport and in the wet braking tests, Michelin claims it outperforms its predecessor by stopping 2.7m shorter. Some sizes of the Sport 3 have a run-flat design ZP, which allow the tyre to go on supporting the vehicle, after losing air, and allowing the vehicle to travel at a limited speed. All versions of the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 including the run-flat design ZP are available for purchase on Tyres.co.uk.

The tyres work great on my car. The only downside of buying these two was a puncture I got just as I was leaving the garage. What a bad coincidence! At least the fitting garage recommended by the garage was able to fix the puncture on the spot and without a charge.

They are designed to be summer performance tyres. They are of course terrible in snowy or icy conditions. They are definitely quieter than the Toyos.

Great traction in both dry and wet conditions. They are significantly quieter than the Yokohamas that were on the Cayenne before. Completely useless in snow which is to be expected as they're NOT winter tyres. Overall a reliable option for summer and wet conditions.

These tyres have done 20,000 miles and have around 4mm of tread left, so still look good. They look fine overall, but I have recently noticed some cracks appearing on the sidewalls. Aside from that, everything looks fine. I intend to purchase the same brand in a few months.
