The Michelin Latitude Cross DT for SUVs and 4x4s is a summer all-terrain tyre designed for regular driving on roads with the occasional need for driving on less developed surfaces. Mud Catcher tread design features open channels for the mud and stones to escape and sharp edge blocks. The design helps the tyre grip on loose surfaces. Michelin Latitude Cross DT has a directional tread pattern which helps manage aquaplaning. The Smooth Terrain Rubber compound has good wear resistance on gravel and the casing supports the weight of a 4x4.

So far, so good. They are a bit quieter on the road and I think I've noticed a slight improvement in fuel consumption over my old tyres, but the real test will be when we have some snow!

I bought these tyres to replace my all-terrain ones because they were unsatisfactory on-road. The switch to the Michelins has been great and has considerably enhanced grip on the roads. They are a great match for my Ford Ranger.

Only time will tell, but so far they seem a bit bouncier than the Hankooks and a little noisier. They are new and should last longer, so we'll see how they do.

From what I can see, they are not designed for high-speed cornering or hard braking, but they seem ideal for my country environment. They also seem to have good resistance to punctures e.g. from hedge cuttings and perform well on gravel and mud surfaces.
