Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate+ is an all-season tyre that holds the 3PMSF marking for certified winter use by retaining its wet and snowy tread features as it wears. Unlike standard all-season tyres, the CrossClimate+ is designed to offer winter traction, unlike traditional all-season tyres that compromiser grip and dry traction as they wear. Its directional V-shaped design has pronounced outer edges to channel water and snow away from the centre of the tyre and assist with lateral grip. Michelin’s EverGrip Technologies incorporates progressively widening grooves, allowing the tyre to maintain its wet-weather channel for later use.

The CrossClimate+ is the intermediate version of the CrossClimate, and the version before the CrossClimate 2, Michelin’s latest all-season tyre. The CrossClimate+ features a rubber that provides grip at lower temperatures. At Tyres.co.uk, we stock Michelin CrossClimate+.

Highlights

  • All-season tyre
  • Certified winter use marking

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate+ 195/50R15 86V XL
They seem to be fairly dependable. I feel comfortable driving in the rain or snow, and the traction is solid. The ride is somewhat stiffer and there is a bit more noise.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate+ 195/50R15 86V XL
The tyres still have great grip after 9,000 miles and the car handling is still great. I tend to avoid aggressive driving, and like to keep a steady speed. They can get a tish noisy on concrete segments of the M25 and M27, but only for a short while. Wheel spin is non existent in wet situations and wear is hardly noticeable!

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate+ 195/50R15 86V XL
They aren't bad, but there are a few reasons for my noticeably cut down driving distance. Still, I do feel more confident with these tyres during winter than I did with the originals on the car, which had almost no grip in the snow.
