The Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport is an all-season tyre designed to provide an authentic sportscar feel of direct steering throughout the seasons, and it’s also certified for driving in severe winter conditions with 3PMSF. The tyre features a directional V-shaped tread that is designed with channels that widen towards the outer edge and facilitate the removal of water from the tread pattern. Dynamic Response Technology uses a hybrid aramid and nylon belt to provide the tyre with shape under the forces of changing steering.

The CrossClimate 3 Sport is equipped with the Thermal Adaptive Tread Compound 2.0 which allows the tyre to perform in the varying temperature conditions that an all-season tyre may encounter. The sidewall of the tyre features the 3PMSF marking which indicates that the tyre has met the required standards for driving on snow. I haven't had these tyres for a while, but I chose them because they are suited for more frosty and snowy conditions. They have really made my drives on more icy and snowy roads a lot better. Also, they are more quiet than the Michelin Pilot 4s I had before. My Mustang feels a lot more stable and doesn't twitch as much anymore.

These tyres feel and sound softer than the original Hankooks, even when driving on the motorway. I haven't experienced any slipping, but I can't really comment on the grip since I'm not a professional driver.

While the Pirelli P Zero is limited to race track and warmer weather conditions, the Michelin Cross Climate Sport 3 has better all around advanced grip so it inspires more confidence and performs better in the colder winter conditions.

I have used these tyres in the wet and the dry and they have been great. These all-season tyres are performing better than my summer tyres, which were Michelin Pilot Sport 5's. I have done a little bit of driving on icy roads and they did fine, however, I have not come across heavy snow, slushy or thick ice.
