Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is an all-season tyre designed for optimum year-round performance for dry, wet, or snowy braking situations. Featuring a directional V-shaped tread with 3PMSF certification, CrossClimate 2 utilises shoulder channeling to expel water from beneath the tyre, while self-locking snow cutting slits form snow traction edges. Michelin’s innovation, Thermal Adaptive Tread, stays flexible with winter slush to optimise the snow cutting edges.

Launched in 2021, the CrossClimate 2 is the successor to the CrossClimate+. According to Michelin, the new design pattern has been optimised to evacuate 10% more water. Crimped edges on the sidewall of the CrossClimate 2 indicate snow traction which meets the requirements of winter tyre regulations and standards. Tyres.co.uk currently carries the Michelin CrossClimate 2.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 205/60R16 92H
Whether I'm driving locally or going on longer journeys on the motorway, the car drives well. Provides great traction in the rain. A great option for all season tyres!

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 205/60R16 92H
The tyres are still performing nicely after a year with sufficient tread left after 10,000 miles. I am not sure if the CrossClimate 2s are on par with the original CrossClimates in the summer but they are still great all season tyres with good performance in rain, snow, and ice.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 205/60R16 92H
They also instill a greater sense of security when the weather is near freezing. Although I have yet to encounter snow, I believe they would perform excellently based on previous experience. Before I have driven in snow and was able to drive uphill from a stop without losing control of my car, and the only other car I saw was a LandRover Discovery. I never felt wheel spin and driving sensibly I thought the car handled really well.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 205/60R16 92H
I am very pleased with these cross climate tyres as they provide a good grip on snowy road conditions and work well in the low temperatures of winter. They are great compared to the original tyres that came with the car.
