Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is an all-season tyre designed for optimum year-round performance for dry, wet, or snowy braking situations. Featuring a directional V-shaped tread with 3PMSF certification, CrossClimate 2 utilises shoulder channeling to expel water from beneath the tyre, while self-locking snow cutting slits form snow traction edges. Michelin’s innovation, Thermal Adaptive Tread, stays flexible with winter slush to optimise the snow cutting edges.

Launched in 2021, the CrossClimate 2 is the successor to the CrossClimate+. According to Michelin, the new design pattern has been optimised to evacuate 10% more water. Crimped edges on the sidewall of the CrossClimate 2 indicate snow traction which meets the requirements of winter tyre regulations and standards. Tyres.co.uk currently carries the Michelin CrossClimate 2.

Highlights

  • All-season tyre

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 185/50R16 81H
While driving at night with two passengers during a storm on the dual carriageway, I came across a large puddle approximately 100 mm deep. Even at about 60 mph, the Michelin CrossClimate tyres kept the car going in a straight line and there were no issues. My friends were impressed. With all the reviews and test results for these tyres, there are no questions; they are outstanding in bad conditions.

This is the first time in 35 years of driving that I have chosen to go with all-season tyres.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 185/50R16 81H
I have had a very positive experience with these Michelin tyres. They provide excellent grip and are soft but are also able to last thousands of miles. I have put them on all three family cars. For their quality and durability, I think it is reasonable to charge a bit more.
