The Lanvigator Catchpower EV 5rib is a summer tyre crafted especially for electric and traditional vehicles. Its design incorporates a 5-rib tread layout which helps provide excellent tracking when driving on city roads, as well as on the motorway. The tyre employs 5 ribs which span the circumference of the tyre. The design also incorporates an innovative, water-shedding groove system, which features wide longitudinal grooves, and a system of slits in the tread which provide additional grip for braking in the damp. The ribs on the external tread are designed to assist the tyre in cornering.
The layout is designed to provide control in flex for lower rolling resistance and assists the efficiency of EVs. The layout also assists in even distribution of pressure across the tread, and, as a result, even tread wear, while the stable layout assists in the reduction of road noise.
