The Kumho HP71 is a quiet and comfortable summer performance SUV tyre. Kumho’s 3D block pattern provides the HP71 with reliable dry steering. Water is channeled away through the rear of the tyre by the 4 continuous straight grooves. Optimising noise and comfort for motorway travel, a noise cancelling tread design employs uneven block spacing.

Kumho developed the HP71 to replace the Crugen Premium KL33 in their SUV tyre line. An innovative feature of the HP71 is full-depth sipes. These provide the tyre with quick and effective water evacuation and edge traction throughout the lifespan of the tyre. The Kumho HP71 can be purchased through our website here at Tyres.co.uk.

These tyres provide excellent performance for handling wet conditions and are quieter on different surfaces. They are also impressive value.

I drive pretty calmly and since I don't really notice tyre noise, it isn't an issue for me. The noise from the road tends to make more noise anyway. I expect to get about 15,000 to 16,000 miles out of this set, so I hope it's decent. Tyres on the front of my Kia Sorento are handling everything pretty well, especially wet conditions and braking. I have no issue with the wear.
