The Kumho Ecsta HS52 emphasises performance on wet roads with improvements to braking, steering and cornering. The unique design of the HS52 tread pattern allows the tyre to channel water from under the tread and through the grooves. The asymmetric pattern of the tread features 4 grooves running from the front to the rear of the tyre. The HS52 utilises Kumho’s 3D Block Design. The High Grip Resin compound enhances braking and cornering performance on both wet and dry roads.

The HS52 is the successor to the Ecsta HS51 on Kumho’s performance tyre line. The HS52 is available in a strengthened casing which is suitable for cars with higher load requirements and has speed ratings up to Y (186mph). Tyres.co.uk sells the reinforced XL versions of the Kumho Ecsta HS52.

Tyres provide a seamless and noiseless ride. They manage well on damp surfaces and have excellent grip.

They tend to work well in wet and dry conditions. They inspire confidence and a sense of security while driving in all conditions. They are not the quietest or most fuel efficient, but I appreciate longevity, and testing suggests these tyres last. I wish I had chosen them sooner.
