The Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 is one of Hankook’s ultra-high-performance summer tyres. Each tyre employs an aramid-hybrid belt as a tread base which prevents tread shape distortion at high speed. These tyres make use of a high-silica compound. The Evo 3 K127 has 4 water-channeling grooves and rigid outer edge blocks for corner support.

HRS is Hankook’s runflat design. The Evo 3 K127 is also in the 3rd generation of Hankook’s runflat constructions. We have the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 HRS runflat at Tyres.co.uk.

My research showed that before purchasing, the Mini Cooper S R56 was said to handle superbly with these tyres, allegedly the original ones fitted to the Mini. This turned out to be the case, and we are very happy.

These tyres provide good traction, a reasonable lifespan, and fair fuel efficiency for the price. However, they can be noisy on some surfaces, possibly show small cracks, and therefore may need to be replaced sooner than premium brands. Overall, they do the job well.

Overall I'm quite happy with these tyres and would recommend them to others. They are just as good as other brands I've paid a lot more for. They are just as quiet, and I haven't seen any difference in fuel use, stopping in the wet or the ability to stop in the rain.

Although the tyres have a good grip and provide reasonable fuel efficiency, the tyres can be a bit noisy on some roads. I am also seeing small cracks, and this means the tyres may need to be changed before the tread completely goes.
