The Grenlander Greentour is a summer tyre geared towards the passenger car market, tailored for hot, dry conditions. In addition, the summer tread compound helps the tyre grip the surface in warm conditions. The tyre's groove pattern helps channel water away from the surface area of the tyre in contact with the road thanks to the slits in the tread. The blocks provide lateral strength and support through the turns, and the tyre casing is designed for typical use on the road.
The tread pattern also channels water away in the instance of wet weather to help combat aquaplaning. The construction of the tyre also helps reduce rolling resistance, which translates to better fuel economy and lower road noise while driving.
