Tyre review for Goodyear Vector 4 Season G2 165/60R15 81T XL
Compared to other tyres, these handle significantly better in winter weather such as cold, wet, and snow. In snow conditions, these tyres handle cast differences, such as saying better than other extremely poor snow tyres. However, now that its spring, the tyres perform similarly to the Continental Eco tyres. The Eco tyres perform fair in the summer, but become extremely poor when snow and winter weather conditions occur. When the tread wore down to less than 4mm the Eco tyres let little to no grip and controlled truck above 6 degrees Celsius. To my disappointment, the tyres also only lasted 10,000 miles. The rubber also began to crack within the first year. It is unknown how Goodyear's tyres will end up performing as is it early in their lifespan. They do not appear to have lost as much tread as the other tyres however. The Vector 4 Seasons Gen2 tyres match with my Aygo perfectly, and I was happy to be able to purchase them at a discounted price. I have already been using them for a period of time and have no signs of bubbling or rubber cracking like with my previous tyres.
