The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ SUV is an SUV winter tyre that maintains flexible tread to increase snow and ice traction. Goodyear developed Winter Grip Technology with a special cold weather compound that maintains its grip ease at cold temperatures. Additionally, Goodyear added traction resin to its proprietary mix to help the tread deform as it grips, then return to its original shape mechanical bond.

This model is a sequel to the UltraGrip Performance SUV Gen-1 model in Goodyear’s winter SUV range. The tyre features the 3PMSF mark which stands for “Three Peak Mountain Snow Flake”, a sign the model passes the snow-traction test. Some variations include the UltraGrip Performance+ SUV with reinforced XL casing, which is meant for SUVs with a higher load limit. Tyres.co.uk offers all variations of this tyre model.

I have used several companies' products throughout the years so I can definitely say these Goodyear tyres are great. I went for a long drive, and encountered heavy rain. I felt completely in control the whole time. Everything felt perfect from acceleration to braking. I have confidence in the grip, regardless of the weather. They are also excellent at cornering. I find them to be really smooth and trust inspiring. I also find them to be quieter than my last set of tyres. They wear evenly which is a bonus. Overall I am happy with my choice.
