Focused on shortening braking distances on both wet and dry surfaces, the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance SUV uses a summer road tyre design that maximises rubber contact with the road while braking. Using ActiveBraking Technology, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance SUV’s tread blocks increase the tyre’s contact surface with the road while braking. Utilising deep, water-shedding grooves and a sturdy casing to handle the weight of an SUV, the tyre’s design also helps to remove water from the tread.

Braking distance for both wet and dry surfaces has improved by 8% and 3% respectively, compared to the previous model, according to Goodyear. A balance of improved grip on wet surfaces and reduced energy consumption during regular use has been achieved by WearControl Technology. XL Reinforced Construction is also available to handle higher loads. Tyres.co.uk stocks the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance SUV, as well as Reinforced XL versions.

Impressive performance all around! Stability in corners is excellent and road noise is very low. In the wet they also perform well. I'm looking forward to seeing how they wear over time as these seem to be a great choice. Added fuel efficiency is a bonus! For peace of mind on the road these are highly recommended.

I have been using Goodyear tyres for a couple of months, and their performance has been noteworthy. Cornering is no problem for these tyres, and they offer a more comfortable ride than alternatives. They still exhibit good grip in light rain as well. If you consider reliability to be important, these tyres are worth your consideration.
