The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

Having great traction in both wet and dry conditions is the mark of a quality tyre. I put two on the front recently, and I have no complaints about their performance so far. Hopefully, they will outlast the Pirellis I had before.

Amazing performance in all conditions - super traction in the dry and confidence inspiring in the wet and slippery. It handles smoothly even at the edge of its grip.
