The Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max is a summer tyre built to reduce energy consumption and assist in lowering fuel consumption for cars. The Assurance CS Fuel Max summer tyre uses a layer that absorbs cushion to reduce heating caused by rolling. Goodyear's FuelSaving Technology is called the under-trade layer and low rolling resistance layer combination. The Assurance CS Fuel Max summer tyre is supported through braking and cornering by a continuous centre rib and firm blocks around the outer edge.

When a vehicle changes directions, the Dry Stability Plus Technology is used to support the tread structure with firm blocks on the outer edge. The inner ribs of the tyre are supported while the outer ribs move water away and slits in the tread provide additional edges for traction on damp roads. Before these tyres I had a different brand and these tyres are way better. They help the car feel more stable at high speeds and the wet weather traction is not an issue with these. It is a plus that they look good too.
