Product description & features

In terms of features, the Firestone RoadHawk is targeted at wet road braking. Firestone’s NanoPro-Tech compound allows the tyre to work efficiently on wet roads. Asymmetric Tread technology places the water-removing grooves on the inner side of the RoadHawk. The fine 3D slits between the tyre blocks create additional edges on the tyre rubber. Solid blocks on the outside shoulder provide good steering control.

The RoadHawk was released in 2016 and replaced the Firestone TZ300 in the touring tyre line-up. It was presented by Firestone as a tyre that had 20% higher wear resistance compared to the previous one. The Firestone RoadHawk 2 is the updated version of the RoadHawk. Tyres.co.uk offers the Firestone RoadHawk.

Highlights

  • Wet-road braking focus

Tyre review for Firestone RoadHawk 225/35R19 88Y XL
These are amazing in wet weather, far superior to the Michelin Pilot Sports. Instead of experiencing aquaplaning like I normally would, these cut right through the water.

I drove about 230 miles to get to Norfolk and back, the car did great in both rain and shine, we will see how the winter wear and tear affect the tyres.

It operates more smoothly and is much quieter. Also, it is really steady in the rain.
