Product description & features

In terms of features, the Firestone RoadHawk is targeted at wet road braking. Firestone’s NanoPro-Tech compound allows the tyre to work efficiently on wet roads. Asymmetric Tread technology places the water-removing grooves on the inner side of the RoadHawk. The fine 3D slits between the tyre blocks create additional edges on the tyre rubber. Solid blocks on the outside shoulder provide good steering control.

The RoadHawk was released in 2016 and replaced the Firestone TZ300 in the touring tyre line-up. It was presented by Firestone as a tyre that had 20% higher wear resistance compared to the previous one. The Firestone RoadHawk 2 is the updated version of the RoadHawk. Tyres.co.uk offers the Firestone RoadHawk.

Highlights

  • Wet-road braking focus
  • NanoPro-Tech compound for wet roads

Great. Tyres are just as good as the last set of Michelins I got, and are nearly £20 cheaper per tyre!

Very happy with my Firestones; they are quiet and have excellent grip. I have yet to compare some fuel efficiencies. Only time will tell how they compare to other brands for wear.
