Firestone’s Destination Winter is a winter tyre designed specifically for SUV’s. This tyre uses a cold-weather tread compound so the rubber is designed to work in snowy, icy, and slushy conditions. Tread blocks have been cut so that extra edges have been created to help grip in these conditions. An optimised carcass shape absorbs the vibrations to aid in creating a smoother ride. This also helps aid in supporting SUV loads due to the structure of the tyre.

The Destination Winter has the 3PMSF and M+S Sidewall markings. The 3PMSF marking indicates the tyre has passed the regulated snow grip test, and the M+S marking indicates a tread design for mud and snow. These Firestone Destination winter tyres are great in the snow and are also good on icy roads. I've seen a clear improvement in my winter driving control compared to the last set. They are a little noisier, but that is nothing compared to the control.
