The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D is a winter tyre with a design featuring a three-zone system. This design addresses different winter surface concerns, whether they be snowy, wet, or dry. The centre zone incorporates Dunlop’s 3D Sipe System with closely spaced slits that behave as biting edges and assist with braking and steering. A slush and water clearing directional pattern design is coupled with a silca-Plus Compound that retains flexibility down to about 7 °C.

In addition, Dunlop offers run-flat and self-supporting tyres to assist vehicles after a loss of tyre pressure. The SP Winter Sport 4D replaced the 3D Sport Winter. The SP Winter Sport 4D incorporates a revised winter tread pattern. Tyres.co.uk offers the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D and the models SP Winter Sport 4D and XL.

Tyre review for Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 235/35R19 91W XL
These are only used in the cold winter months and changed for different wheels/tyres in the summer, so yearly mileage stays low. However, both the performance and wear are remarkable. I'd strongly recommend these tyres for winter driving. The car, an Audi TTS with a bit of zing, handles brilliantly with these tyres especially in horrible weather and road conditions.
