The summer Cooper CS8 touring tyre has been designed for almost all UK summer driving. It uses a specific tread pattern that helps clear water for a range of uses from a daily commute to longer family trips and even motorway driving in warm, as well as mild, weather. Longitudinal grooves and tread channel water and aid transportation through the tread. The CS8 uses a proprietary technology that distributes tread wear and a unique casing to preserve the integrity of the tyre for long distance driving. The Cooper CS8 has a design that improves braking and helps provide a stable steering response when driving in wet conditions.
A special focus has been given to the tyre compound and casing of the CS8 to improve the range while also maintaining a low rolling resistance. There are summer tyres in the CS8 range with a higher load rating, so make sure to check the sidewall of your current tyres for the appropriate load rating. As a tyre designed for use in summer, almost as a rule of thumb, it can be assumed that the CS8 is best suited for use in temperatures above 7 degrees. Tyres.co.uk has the Cooper CS8 in stock.
