The Continental EcoContact 7 S is a warm weather passenger car tyre, focused on improvement during wet conditions for both braking and steering, featuring low rolling resistance typical of Continental tyres made for hybrid and electric vehicles. It features the Green Chili 3.0 compound from Continental, which focuses on reducing rolling resistance and abrasion by adapting to the road surface. Braking and steering in wet conditions is supported by the S version’s exterior dry tread with larger tread blocks and a specific groove layout. The Smart Energy Casing from Continental features low friction materials for the tyre casing to reduce wasted energy from tyre flex.

Continental released the EcoContact 7 S in parallel with the EcoContact 7 for improved handling during wet conditions braking. Its sidewall features Aero Dimple design where recessed dimples smooth the airflow around the tyre and reduce drag. The Continental EcoContact 7 S is available at Tyres.co.uk.

I'm honestly still equally impressed with the performance of these tyres. Great dry grip, and remarkable performance in the wet. I think this is a solid long-term investment and will likely stick with this brand moving forward especially during the performance of my regular commutes.
