The Continental CrossContact LX is built to serve everyday 4x4 and SUV needs on the road with some light off-road capabilities as well. Tread designs help maintain traction on gravel; an SUV needs the tread to clear water, so there are 4 wide grooves that accomplish this. Slits on the tread blocks provide extra grip for wet road. The outer tread blocks provide extra support and stability for the weight of the SUV as it changes direction. The casing provides support and stability for the weight and height of the SUV as well.
CrossContact LX versions have M+S markings, indicating tread for mud and light snow. The CrossContact LX 2 replaced this model later down the line. The original model is still available for the established SUV fitment. At Tyres.co.uk, we have the Continental CrossContact LX in stock.
