Product description & features

Focused specifically on summer use and built for the high demands of heavier vehicles, the Continental CrossContact LX Sport is a road driving SUV tyre featuring an asymmetric tread design, along with a casing reinforced for the load shifts that come with SUV driving. The outer blocks of the tread are solid and support cornering. The inner grooves are designed to dissipate water with slits for additional wet braking. The SUV driving casing supports weight for when the tyre needs to shift and change direction.

Reinforced sidewalls that support the tyre after a loss of pressure are also available for some models. At Tyres.co.uk, we offer the Continental CrossContact LX Sport, including SSR runflat models. Sidewall markings of MO or N0 refers to the design specifications of Mercedes and Porsche respectively. To maintain the approval specification of the vehicle, an original-equipment tyre replacement must match the markings.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric tread design
  • Solid outer tread blocks
  • Inner grooves with wet braking slits
  • Reinforced sidewalls available

Tyre review for Continental Cross Contact LX Sport 255/50R20 109H XL
So far, it seems to perform well, and has good handling in wet and dry conditions. There is however slightly more road noise than other brands.

These are my third set and they were great until I separated from the car. I guess the new owner must be enjoying them now.
