The Continental ContiEcoContact 5 is an energy-efficient passenger summer car tyre designed with reduced rolling resistance. The ContiEcoContact 5 is built with a rubber compound and casing that expend less energy while rolling. Flat tyre contours reduce the deformation of the tyre and help distribute tread wear. The tyre has a series of longitudinal grooves that help drainage, and an array of slits in the tread blocks work as tactile features for improved braking performance on wet roads.
Within the same product range, the EcoContact 6 has replaced the ContiEcoContact 5. The ContiEcoContact 5 comes in various constructions and has Reinforced Sidewalls, which offer support after a loss of air pressure with the run-flat construction, and ContiSeal, which has an internal sealing layer to close tread punctures. At Tyres.co.uk you can find various constructions of the ContiEcoContact 5, including the SSR run-flat construction and the ContiSeal.
