Product description & features

The Conti4x4Contact by Continental is a summer tyre designed for SUVs with an emphasis on driving on tarmac with capability of venturing off-road on easier surfaces if needed. They use an asymmetric tread design which breaks up the tread in the inner and outer parts of the tyre. For the outer part of the tyre, Continental has opted for a design that will help with solidity and being able to cope with steering and cornering on solid surfaces. The inner part of the tyre has gentle inclusions to assist in the gripping of loose surface, and incorporates a design which will assist in the evacuation of water.

Some of the designs carry a sidewall mark of MO, which is the mark of approval from Mercedes-Benz and others carry the mark N0, which is Porsche's approval mark indicating the tyres were designed for the respective companies specifications. It is important to match either of the approval marks when it comes to tyres for original equipment fitments, to maintain the original specifications. At Tyres.co.uk, we have in stock the Continental Conti4x4Contact, including the reinforced XL versions.

It offers an exceptionally pleasant driving experience. Replacing all four tyres was undoubtedly worth it.

Tyre review for Continental 4x4 Contact 235/50R19 99H
The original Bridgestones on this Honda CRV have been replaced with these tyres. Although the Bridgestones have quite a lot of durability (the last ones did almost 30,000 miles), the Continentals do feel a bit softer and quieter on the road. They also have great grip and solid handling, even for a taller 4x4 body.

Tyre review for Continental 4x4 Contact 235/50R19 99H
They seem to produce more noise than the original Continental Contacts V1 tyres, and more vibration is felt the faster you drive. The grip is satisfactory, but I will have to see how they perform as time passes.
