The Turanza T006 from Bridgestone is a high-performance summer touring tyre that focuses on wet-road control in the spring to autumn months of the UK. The T006 uses a tyre compound that is rich in silica and wide grooves that help maintain grip and dry. The grooves help with aquaplaning by transporting standing water. Small slits in the tread help with braking and cornering on wet surfaces. The shape of the casing aids stability at high speeds and even load distribution.

Some sizes of the T006 even use Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology. ENLITEN helps with tyre weight and reduces rolling resistance while maintaining safety. From my experience with many types of tyres and under many conditions, the Turanza T006 has stood out. They have been exceptional in wet and dry conditions with good grip and confidence in corners. They have performed well even on long trips and I only wish the tread wear longevity was a little better. Overall, the performance of the tyres is impressive especially the balance of comfort and handling.
