The Bridgestone Potenza S005 is a summer tyre designed to accommodate the exacting high-speed steering and braking requirements of the BMW 8 Series. As such, it is an ultra-high-performance summer tyre developed as original equipment for BMW. Its asymmetric tread design helps deal with dry cornering and wet-road drainage. It features large linked blocks forming a firm shoulder for cornering. The inner side has four longitudinal grooves with water-shedding angled channels.
Any BMW 8 Series tyre with a BMW star marking on the sidewall was built to BMW’s specifications. If the delivered tyre has the star marking, then the purchaser is getting the specified version of the tyre. Other options in the range also include Reinforced XL construction. The price shown for mail-order tyres covers the tyre only (including VAT). Once you’ve selected your tyres and proceed to the basket, a delivery fee will be added to your order.
