I guess they are doing an adequate job; however, I have not driven a lot this year with Covid.

5/5

Kumho WP52

Great traction in cold weather conditions. Extremely quiet operation.

4/5

Kumho WP52

I picked up on some winter tyre behaviour alongside being great in cold weather, they tend to demonstrate some questionable grip characteristics in the rain.

3/5

Yokohama BluEarth-A AE50

They hold well. Sadly, one of them has a nail or screw in it, which worries me a bit, being a bus key worker!

5/5

Yokohama BluEarth-A AE50

Excellent! The vehicle holds traction on the road extremely well.

185/60 R16 with 16-inch wheels is typical of small cars. 185/60 R16 is quite straightforward. 185 is the width in mm. 60 is the aspect ratio. This makes the sidewall 60% of the width. In this case, the sidewall is 111mm. R16 means the tyre is radial and the rim is 16 inches in diameter, giving an overall diameter of 628mm. The sidewall also cushions the impact of rough surfaces. Tyres.co.uk stocks 185/60 R16 tyres and also XL versions of these tyres.

Part of the size	Value	What it means

Construction	R	Radial construction, which is what nearly all road tyres use.
Rim diameter	16	The wheel diameter the tyre fits, measured in inches.
