Product description & features

Yokohama’s BluEarth-GT AE51 is a summer touring tyre designed with wet-road braking in mind and a preference for longer GT driving. This tyre uses an asymmetric tread with inner and outer zones. For wet grip and reduced rolling resistance, Yokohama uses a proprietary rubber formulation with a silica and orange oil combination called Nano Blend Compound 2. Water is channeled through the tyre using wide, straight grooves, while the outer shoulder of the tyre remains unsupported in dry corners.

Yokohama’s touring line of tyres has moved from the BluEarth-A AE50 to the AE51. The centre ribs of the AE51 have a rounded profile that helps the upper surface of the tyre conversation with the road. This helps the tyre with even wear over time. At Tyres.co.uk, we have the BluEarth-GT AE51 in stock.
