The Vredestein T-Trac 2 passenger tyre has been designed for summer conditions and features a tread pattern channeling water away from the tyre using three longitudinal central grooves. It features a central rib for tread block stability, lateral grooves to aid water removal and slits that meet the road for extra grip. The tread compound has been created to lower rolling resistance and is silica based.
T-Trac 2, launched in 2015, was the successor of the original T-Trac, and was later superseded by T-Trac 3. The tread design of T-Trac 2 incorporates central rib channels and open outer water removal grooves, and is not as segmented as winter tyre tread designs.
